On September 8, 2011, we get to do it all over again at the Spencer T. Olin Golf Course in Alton,
Illinois, designed by Arnold Palmer. Join us by registering
to golf or becoming a sponsor.
We appreciate 1st MidAmerica Credit Union's investment in our mission and
commitment to community service.
Last year the icing on the cake was that agency staff could participate in
the fun. Some golfed, and others drove hospitality carts, worked
registration, 50/50 ticket sales, served refreshments and more.
"It was a
rich experience for my employees and validated the work they do to help
struggling young families in our community." said RHSFS president Chuck Parr
in a letter to Don Reedy, president and CEO of the credit union.
Parr continued, "Your stamp of approval gave us something positive to talk
about in the community, it raised awareness of our mission, and it
positioned us as a charity worthy of support.
The special philanthropy inspired RHSFS to create its new Champion Circle.
The giving level recognizes donors who hold fundraisers for the agency.
Others in the Champion Circle include Ed and Patty Morrissey of Alton and
Jeana Hutchinson of Alton.
