Abundant thanks to theindividuals and businesses on this listfor honoring Mike and Cindy Lefferson by making the 2010 Circle of Care event possible.
They all support Madison County, Illinois communities through philanthropic and volunteering endeavors beyond the mission of Riverbend Head Start & Family Services. We encourage you to support them in all of their efforts to improve the region.
Now in its seventeenth year, Riverbend Head Start & Family Services presents the Circle of Care award event to recognize and honor an individual or couple who have made a significant contribution to Madison County through volunteerism, profession and/or philanthropy.
Proceeds benefit Riverbend Head Start & Family Services on a mission to enable children and families to develop positive solutions to life’s challenges through child development and counseling programs. When it comes to early intervention, early childhood education, parent education, positive case management, physical, mental and dental health care, crisis intervention and serious, solution-focused therapy – we corner the market for vulnerable populations. 80% of our clients live in poverty, 45% live on less than $10,000 a year. All of them participate in our programs voluntarily because they want to improve their lives.
